D51 are tender type locomotive for main route and local cargo trains. They called "DEGOICHI" with the most famous stearm locomotive in japan.
they was manufactured 1184 locomotive by Japan National railway(JN.) in 1935-1950.
32 D51 went to TWIWAN in 1934-44. They used TAIWAN railway call type "DT650".(DT668 was repaired in 2011!)

He join SL preservation project at UMEKOUJI Steam Locomotive Museum in 1972. He live now.UMEKOUJI has operation for exhibition 3 time a every day. But C61-2, D51-200, and 8600 change operation every other month

JR East japan first repair locomotive in 1988. First run was NOSTALGIE ISTANBUL ORIENT EXPRESS(NIOE) tour in japan. He run between UENO and OMIYA.
His home is TAKASAKI.
He has scheduled train "SL MINAKAMI" , "SL USUI" and special train with in JR East japan line.
