SL MOKA
SL MOKA is operation by MOKA Railway Co Ltd.This train run with in SHIMODATE and MOTEGI evey weekend and pub holiday.

Will be C11-325 or C12-66 run with 3 passenger cars.
SL moka operation by double header locomotive a few time a year.

Moka railway is almost flat section. But,25 permil pass has between MOTEGI and TENYABA.
Inbound train 6002 need big power for clim pass. So SL spit out much smoke.

HOW TO RIDE
SL MOKA need train fare and SL surcharge ticket "SL SEIRIKEN" Its cost 500JPY.(one way)
It sell at Shimodate,Motegi and stop of the SL MOKA station and until train capacity.

All cars seat are free. If you want sit window side,you must arrival at SHIMODATE station early. Usualy, many passenger get off at MASHIKO.
MASHIKO is very famous for ceramic art.

SL MOKA has wagon service. It sale drink, food and SL goods.

At arrival MOTEGI station, SL move to a turntable and maintenance for inbound train.

If you go to MOKA Railway from Tokyo;
You get on TOHOKU UTSUNOMIYA-LINE from UENO Station. And transit at OYAMA ,change to MITO-LINE. Then get off at SHIMODATE.
You need about 2 hour from UENO.

SL MOKA stop at ICHIHANA sataion. SL need a power for depature. He climb small slop after depature.
This point is very near sataion. and easy.
